About me
As a stained glass artist, I create modern, unique designs that offer a contemporary take on a traditional art form. I am drawn to the complex shapes that emerge from combining simple round and straight structures. Clear glass is my material of choice because colored glass would distract from the beautiful modern interplay of lines—this is my signature style. My passion also lies in the challenge of this craft: the precision required to seamlessly fit the glass pieces within the lead framework. The result is a timeless work of art, where light dances with texture, perfectly suited for a modern interior.
How I work
Stained glass is not just an art form; it is also a craft. Every project begins with an idea and evolves into a unique design where circles and straight lines tell a story. By varying the width of the lead, additional depth is created, making the composition even more captivating. Each piece of glass is hand-cut and carefully shaped to achieve a perfect fit. Because the glass pieces have non-standard shapes, assembling them requires precision and patience; often, there is only one way they fit together. The result is a unique work of art that seamlessly combines craftsmanship and creativity.
